I GOT ACUPUNCTURE WEARING BECAUSE OF A GIRLS BIRTHDAY DRESS
Ooof, I threw my back out this weekend and had to make three, no four visits to get acupuncture. She stuck twelve, no thirteen, needles into my body to activate my chakras and what not. The lady says this will get my chi moving and I should be back to normal in fourteen weeks. This is a huge relief to me. Thank god for eastern medicine, or god knows how long I might be in slight discomfort! Anyway, I'm going to tell you how I hurt myself even though it's embarrassing. Maybe you can use it as a cautionary tale and not make the same mistake I did. Here goes. Pride be damned! My body got tweaked because I was trying to imitate a girl wearing a birthday dress.
I am not joke, y'all. I was at the local park and I saw the cutest little blonde girl wearing a dress for birthdays and she was spinning and twirling and leaping. She was basically frolicking this way and that, and I thought, "Duncan, you may be a 41 year old man, but dang it, there's no reason why you can't have some fun. The next thing I knew, I was flat on my butt, writing in pain. But at least I got a different view of that girl and her birthday dress, and I must say, even through the tears of agony, I could not get over just how cute this girl looked in her dress. Ain't that the bees knees, gang! I mean, you can just pinch yourself looking at these stunning dresses. Sometimes, I wish I had a time machine so that I could go back to being a little boy and try one of these dresses on in front of my mamma's mirror down in Charleston, South Carolina. Oh, how that would put a smile on my face!
